Our Enrolment Policy

Avila College is a college which operates with the consent of the Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne and is owned, operated and governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS).

There is an agreed order of priority for enrolment in MACS schools, which must be followed in the enrolment policy and procedures. The first priority of Catholic schools is the provision of a Catholic education for Catholic children.

The priority parishes for Avila College are:

Holy Family, Mount Waverley, St Leonard’s Glen Waverley, St Christopher’s Syndal, Good Shepherd Mulgrave, St Mary Magdalen’s Jordanville, St Justin’s Wheelers Hill, St Scholastica’s Bennetswood, Christ Our Holy Redeemer, Oakleigh East, Holy Saviour Vermont South, St Simon’s Rowville, St Luke’s Wantirna, Holy Trinity Wantirna South, St Jude the Apostle Scoresby and St Timothy’s Vermont.

Friday 18 August 2023      Closing Date for Applications


Friday 20 October 2023      Letters of Offer will be mailed


Friday 10 November 2023      Final Day for Acceptance of your Offer of Enrolment


Student Application Form

Enrolment Process

  • After families make an enquiry about enrolling their daughter at Avila College they will be sent information about the school and are invited to attend an Open Morning.
  • They will then submit a Student Application Form along with a $300 non-refundable Application Fee, which the Registrar will process.
  • Families whose daughters are accepted into Avila College can expect to receive a letter of offer* after the close of applications.
  • Families will then formally accept the offer of a place for their daughter by completing the Enrolment forms together with the enrolment fee of $900. This enrolment fee comprises a $450 debenture that is conditionally refundable upon completion of Year 12 and payment of all school fees and a non-refundable capital levy of $450.
