Opening School Mass and Leaders Commissioning

On Friday 12 February, Avila College celebrated Mass and the Commissioning of the 2021 Student Leaders in a series of COVID-Safe ceremonies. Thank you to Fr Justel Callos from Holy Family Mt Waverley for leading Mass and to our 2021 Co-Captains for leading the Leadership Pledge. Avila’s 2021 annual theme of “Be the Light” was symbolically represented throughout the ceremonies and beautifully captured in song by our musicians and choir.
