Congratulations to the 2025 Avila College DUX, Jayda Tram.
A hard working and dedicated student with a genuine thirst for knowledge and love of learning, Jayda has consistently applied herself throughout the VCE years.
Admitted into the prestigious Monash Scholars program in 2023, Jayda has embraced every opportunity to excel academically and was the recipient of the Legal Studies, Biology and Academic Excellence awards in 2024.
Jayda’s intellectual curiosity and insightful questions in class have been appreciated by peers and teachers alike. She has also been an active and valued member of the school community for many years, holding an Art Captain leadership role in Year 10, running Art Club for junior students, and participating in DAV debating.

Maya Nallathamby
Congratulations to the 2025 Avila College VCE-VM High Achiever, Maya Nallathamby.
An enthusiastic and warm student, Maya has been a role model and leader in the VCE-VM program. She has consistently strived to further her skills and knowledge in her VCE-VM classes as well as her VCE studies in Health and Human Development. Maya positively contributes to team activities, offering a helping hand to those who need it and acting with maturity, compassion and poise.
Maya is keen to continue her studies with a Diploma of Community Services as a pathway to social work.
