NEAA Student Conference in Perth

A delegation of Avila College students travelled to Iona College in Perth to attend the NEAA Student Conference, themed “Carriers of the Lantern.” Throughout the conference, students explored the life, vision and actions of Nano Nagle and the Presentation Sisters, reflecting on what it means to carry this legacy forward through spirituality, service, social justice and leadership.

The conference also provided a wonderful opportunity for Avila students to connect with young people from Presentation schools across Australia, sharing experiences, building friendships and celebrating their shared Presentation heritage.

The conference concluded with an exciting announcement: Avila College will host the next NEAA Student Conference in 2028! We look forward to welcoming Presentation students from across Australia to Avila as we continue to carry the lantern forward together.
