St Teresa Library wins Excellence award!

Avila College’s St Teresa Library, which opened in 2026, has been recognised with a Master Builders Association of Victoria Excellence in Construction Award. Constructed by Newpol Construction and designed by LAW Architects, the St Teresa Library has quickly become a vibrant hub at the heart of the College – a place for study, research, connection and co-curricular activities including the Chess Club, Book Club and Quill & Ink Writers Group.

More than a beautifully designed and expertly constructed space, the St Teresa Library reflects Avila College’s commitment to creating inspiring, future-focused learning environments that support collaboration and community.

We are incredibly proud to see this special space recognised for its construction and design and even prouder to see it already making such a positive impact on student life at Avila.
