  • This eight week section of the Year 10 Drama course is divided into two equal parts.

The first four weeks will be spent developing a five-minute solo character performance. The final four weeks will see a shift from solo to group performance making, as students develop an ensemble performance on a given theme. This task will also demonstrate the students' knowledge of Bertolt Brecht's Epic Theatre performance style.

Moodle will be used in a week-by-week format for students to recieve online lesson content, post messages for others on a forum, conference performance making in a chat room, check the calendar for upcoming events and other activities. Moodle can also be accessed from home via password log in and students will also communicate electronically with their teacher via the Moodle interface.

Outside the Moodle program, students will receive theory notes and other information via podcasts that they will download from the Internet. Students will also keep an online blog of the performance making process.
