Introduction to the changes experienced during puberty.

An introduction into the basics of first aid. Eg. DR ABCD, bandaging, managing wounds and soft tissue injuries

Students learn about the male and female reproduction system, from puberty through to pregnancy and birth. Thhis is done through a variety of handouts, discussions, research and educational videos. Students will be assessed through a multi choice test at the end of the unit.

Students explore the many issues surrounding the consumption of Alcohol, learn facts about alcohol and responsible drinking and pouring.

Students learn the facts about alcohol, about responsible drinking and the pouring of drinks. They explore the many issues surrounding alcohol consumption.

Students learn facts about alcohol, responsible pouring and drinking, and harm minimisation strategies for dealing with a variety of situations regarding alcohol.

Year 10 - a variety of issues with regards to Sexuality are covered.
An End of Term Quiz and revision question are explored in this Course.
