Application Process

How to apply

For all Employment Applications – both teaching and non-teaching staff

For an assessment of your employment application to be made the following key information is required:

  • A cover letter that demonstrates your suitability to undertake the requirements of the position in response to the Position Requirements in the Role Description.
     
  • A curriculum vitae detailing your relevant qualifications and experience, contributions and achievements which relate to the Position Requirements for the role you are applying for.

For Teaching Positions:

  • An application form (click here) must be fully completed and include details such as VIT registration, certification of the DET mandatory reporting module, first aid and anaphlaxis certification and completion of the pre-employment disclosure questions.

For Administration Positions

  • An application form (click here) must be fully completed and include details such as qualifications and completion of the pre-employment disclosure questions.
     
  • Copies of relevant documents as outlined in the Application form/Role Description.
     
  • Contact details of three referees two of whom you have reported to directly from recent roles.
  • Download and read the Code of Conduct (Child Safety) You are not required to sign and submit the code of conduct with your application.

Important Information - Applications

  • Applications and attachments must be in Word or PDF.  
     
  • Applicants are requested to apply online to hr@avilacollege.vic.edu.au by 4.00pm on the specified closing date.
     
  • Applications are to be addressed to
