Leadership
The qualities of leadership and responsibility are greatly encouraged
and fostered at Avila.
Students at every year level have the opportunity to experience leadership
in some form, whether it be within their own homeroom, on the Student
Representative Council (SRC), or through service to others in the wider
community. Two student representatives are on the College Board. Students
have a voice that is heard and respected.
A
formal leadership course is available to Year 10 students. This is offered
to students even if they do not aspire to formal leadership positions.
